Direct hire; non-exempt Essential Duties and Responsibilities Transpose and prepare digital information to create 3D printable files.
Operate and maintain printer equipment.
Design additional parts to print as projects require.
Coordinate with design and fabrication departments for project requirements.
Assist in design, model and fabrication areas as needed.
Order materials, supplies and consumables for equipment.
Adhere to safety requirements and equipment guidelines.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Knowledge and Skill Two years of education or relevant experience in 3D printing.
Read and understand blue prints and design specifications.
Work independently and be able to problem solve issues to create solutions.
Use power and battery tools along with various hand tools on a limited basis.
Have knowledge in 3D modeling software and Slicers essential for design, tool pathing and printing such as Rhino, SolidWorks and Cura.
Be proficient in and utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.
) Communicate effectively via written and verbal methods.
